WordTrail is a free word puzzle game. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the limited data our app and website collect.
WordTrail does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Your game statistics including win streaks and guess distribution are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to any server. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not track individual users.
WordTrail displays ads provided by Google AdSense (on the web) and Google AdMob (in the mobile app). Google may collect and use data to personalize ads, including device identifiers and usage data, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalized ads through your device's privacy settings or by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
The WordTrail website uses localStorage to save your game progress and statistics. Our advertising partners may use cookies to serve and personalize ads. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.
On iOS 14.5 and later, the WordTrail app will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes. You can change this preference at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy and Tracking.
WordTrail is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
WordTrail uses the following third-party services: Google AdSense and AdMob for advertising, Google Fonts for typography, and Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing data collection.
